I just released a NEW course called Cinematic Storytelling with a Smartphone that is an update to a previous one called Smartphone Cinematography 101 (which was recently sunset).

This new updated course is still a 101 course geared to those wanting to learn the fundamentals of cinematography (composition, framing and lighting) shooting with a smartphone.

Note: If you enrolled in the Smartphone Cinematography 101 course in the past, then you do not need to enroll in this new course as it has a similar curriculum (but with updates and new material for 2026).

Here's a short promo for the course:

And for those interested in an "all-in-one" mobile filmmaking course – I bundled this new cinematography course with the popular Blackmagic Camera App guide to create a Mobile Filmmaker Bundle that saves almost 30% (if you were buying them separately).

Go here to check out the bundle.

Again, the cinematography course is a beginner's guide that not only teaches the fundamentals of visual storytelling, but it also explains the differences in shooting professional quality video with a smartphone versus a traditional camera.

I hope you find these courses useful.

Happy mobile filmmaking!
